It's October 2015, I'm 7,792 feet above sea level, and I've been walking for four days straight amidst fairy-like landscapes. This is the stuff that dreams are made of.
And that is exactly it.
It is here, while exploring the ancient ruins of Machu Picchu that I reconnected with my love for Anthropology. I knew I loved Psychology all along, and that I loved cognitive and behavioral science, but I had a bit of a grudge with Anthropology and my job prospects in the field after graduating with my Bachelors of Arts back in 2008.
That is until I discovered UX Design in 2016.
If you ask me, UX Design is the baby that Psychology, Design, and Anthropology would have had after a long and steamy night in a cheap hostel in Tulum. No one knows who the real parent is, but they are inevitably and impossibly inter-related.
I am an artist and poet at heart, and at the same time a nerd who spent too much time in the computer growing up. Ironically, all this time I spent interacting with my computer instead of human beings has paid of with an intuitive understanding of digital interactions.
As for more intimate details? Well, my life revolves around my two senior dogs and reading way too many books.
I also like to travel (in case it wasn't obvious) and my goal is to visit a different country per year.
Matsumoto Castle, Japan 2014
Machu Picchu, Peru 2015
Chichen Itzá, México 2016
Sea to Sky Summit, Canada 2017
